Newborn photographer client gallery — private, polished, permanent
Newborn galleries carry a higher privacy bar than most. Parents want to share with family — not the internet. Galluméturns your Google Drive folder into a password-protected gallery that looks professional and stays private. No re-uploading, no storage fees, no expiry. And because photos serve from Google's servers, nothing sensitive ever passes through ours.
Privacy-first architecture
Galluméstores zero photo bytes. When a parent opens the gallery, images load directly from Google's CDN — the same infrastructure securing the rest of their Google account. We store only the gallery settings: a title, a link to your Drive folder, and a hashed password. Nothing else leaves your Drive.
What parents get when they open the link
- ✓Password prompt — Parents enter the password once. After that, the gallery is open for their session.
- ✓Masonry gallery — All photos in a clean, full-quality grid — not a file browser.
- ✓Lightbox viewer — Full-screen viewing with keyboard and swipe navigation, perfect on mobile when grandparents are viewing.
- ✓Full-resolution downloads — One-click individual downloads or a full-gallery zip, at exactly the resolution you delivered.
- ✓No account required — They open the link. That's it — no Google account, no app, no signup.
No expiry, ever
Many gallery platforms delete galleries after 30–90 days of inactivity on the free tier. For newborn galleries — which parents return to for months and share with family years later — that's a real problem. Galluméhas no deletion timers. The gallery stays live as long as your Drive folder does, which for most photographers is indefinitely.
- Can I keep the gallery completely private, only for the parents?
- Yes. Set a password on the gallery (included free) and only the people you give it to can view the photos. The gallery link itself is unguessable, and the password adds a second layer. Photos are never indexed or publicly listed anywhere.
- Are newborn photos stored on your servers?
- No. Your photos stay in your Google Drive folder and load from Google's servers when a parent opens the gallery. Gallumé stores nothing except the gallery settings — title, folder link, and password hash.
- The parents want to share the gallery link with grandparents. Is that safe?
- Yes — the password controls access. Give the parents the password and they can share the link; anyone without the password sees only the login prompt. You can also leave the password off if you want the gallery freely shareable.
- How long does the gallery stay live?
- As long as your Drive folder exists and stays shared, the gallery works. There are no expiry timers, no 30-day deletion windows. The gallery stays live until you delete it or change the folder's sharing settings.
