Portrait photographer client gallery — upgrade the link you already send
Most portrait photographers already deliver via Google Drive. The folder is organized, the photos are edited, the resolution is right. The only problem is what the client sees: a file browser. Gallumé turns that same Drive folder into a gallery that actually looks like the professional work you delivered — masonry layout, lightbox, password, full-resolution downloads. No re-uploading, no new workflow, free.
What changes for your clients
| What they see | Raw Drive link | Gallumé |
|---|---|---|
| Layout | File browser, tiny thumbnails | Masonry gallery, full quality |
| Viewing | Click each file, open in tab | Lightbox with keyboard/swipe |
| Password protection | Not available | Included free |
| Downloading | Right-click → save or Drive menu | One-click per photo or gallery zip |
| Feels professional | Not really | Yes |
One workflow, not two
You don't change how you organize or export. Put finals in Drive as you already do, share the folder as “Anyone with the link can view,” paste the link into Gallumé, set a password, and send. That's the entire workflow change. The gallery link is permanent and live — if you add a few extra edits later, they appear in the gallery automatically.
Portrait session sizes work fine on the free tier
A portrait session is typically 50–200 edited images — well within any photo limit you'd expect to hit. But Gallumé has no photo limit at all, because photos are never stored on our servers. The free tier gives you up to 20 active galleries with unlimited photos and password protection. Pro ($3/month) is for photographers who need more than 20 galleries open at once.
- How is this different from just sending a Drive link?
- A Drive link shows a file browser — small thumbnails, no password, downloads buried in menus. Gallumé wraps the exact same folder in a masonry gallery with a full-screen lightbox and a clean password prompt. Same photos, completely different experience.
- Can I set a password so only my client sees their photos?
- Yes — password protection is included on the free tier. Set one password per gallery; your client enters it once and then browses freely. No per-person login, no sharing-settings puzzle.
- What if I add a few more selects after the initial delivery?
- Just drop them in the Drive folder. The gallery updates automatically within about a minute — no re-publishing, no new link to send.
- Do clients need a Google account to view?
- No. They open the link, enter the password if there is one, and browse or download at full resolution. No account, no app.
